Participants: All mental health professionals are welcome including counselors, marriage and family therapists, psychologists, social workers, pastors and clergy, as well as students training in these professions.
* Life coaches are not permitted to attend unless they also meet one of the mental health
professional categories listed above.
About the Training:
An Externship in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy® is an immersive four-day (26 hour) training experience. Over the course of two weekends, we’ll dive into the
science of attachment and the gold standard in couples therapy that is empirically proven to help couples heal and maintain closeness over time. This is a transformative and interactive training. You’ll learn the roadmap for couples therapy through didactic presentations, case examples, role plays and small group discussions lead by experienced members of the NTEFT community. At least one live session is planned so you will have the chance to experience the magic of EFT for yourself.

This externship is approved by ICEEFT and is the first step towards certification in EFCT. It is a pre-requisite for Master classes and advanced Core Skills training in
EFT.
