Michael D. Ashenfelter, LPC-S holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Human Development & Family Studies from Texas Tech University, a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary and is currently under supervision to become a Certified EFT therapist.

He is the founder and director of Ashenfelter Counseling in Dallas, Texas, with his wife Tiffany Ashenfelter, LPC-S.  His primary focus of practice is seeing couples, families, and individuals within an EFT framework to help them create new relational patterns and form healthy attachments for lasting change.

He also partners with Cooper Clinic Nutrition Services’ Cooper Weight Loss program and works with their patients in gaining deeper insight into their behavioral health patterns to help achieve their health and wellness goals. He is a member of the International Enter for Excellence in EFT (ICEEFT), Christian Association of Psychological Studies (CAPS), & Dallas Society of Psychoanalytic Psychology (DSPP).

Dr. Rebecca Jorgensen holds the PhD in Clinical Psychology with specialized training in treating problematic sexual behavior, sex, shame and trauma.

She is Co-Founder and Director at the Training and Research Institute for Emotionally Focused Therapy (TRI EFT Alliant) and faculty at Alliant International University.

Dr. Jorgensen is a certified EFT Therapist and Supervisor and honored to be on Susan Johnson’s team of Certified Trainers; she presents alongside Dr. Johnson several times a year.  She is best known for providing EFT training and support, online and in-person, and for her best selling videos Emotionally Focused Therapy: A Complete Treatment and EFT Step by Step.

She facilitates the Hold Me Tight Workshop For Therapists and Their Partners in the U.S. and Internationally.  She maintains a clinical practice, is a recognized speaker and serves as a consultant around the globe.

She can be found online doing webinars or hanging out on various virtual platforms advancing online education and training on attachment, sexuality and Emotionally Focused Therapy. 

She is devoted to strengthening families through helping couples develop safe and secure marital bonds and helping other therapists learn more effective couple’s therapy.  Married to the love of her life, she and Max are proud to be grandparents of nine delightful (smart and attractive too) little beings.

Melodie has been married for over three decades and has two adult daughters, two sons-in-law, and a new grandbaby. When Melodie isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, decorating, baking, and working in her flower beds. Often, you can find her drinking coffee, reading, or doing Pilates in the morning.

Le is the founder of 1000 Hills Counseling and Consulting, an online only practice focused on couples and parents in Texas. She works extensively with people on difficult parenting journeys, specifically adoptive parents and parents of children with disabilities.

Le is passionate about helping couples reconnect and beat the statistics that say their relationships are doomed because of the challenges they face in parenting. She specializes in parenting trauma and often speaks to parent groups or trains other therapists to support struggling parents as individuals or couples.

When she’s not counseling, Le reads excessively and writes book reviews for therapists through The Therapist’s Bookshelf and her popular Instagram account, @TherapyBooks. She also stays busy hiking and traveling the country with her husband and kids.

Rachel is the founder of ‘Coupled: Couples Counseling and Coaching.’ She is honored to work with couples and adult individuals who want to heal their relationships, and faithfully walks alongside them as they work to change the dynamics they find themselves stuck in. She is passionate about helping couples reconnect and uses empathy, humor, intuition, and experience to gain the trust of her clients so that she may be a guide and a witness as they transform their relationships.

Recently Rachel has become an LMFT supervisor, to guide LMFT Associates on their licensure path.

In her personal time, Rachel hangs out with her husband, kids, grandkids, and friends. Rachel enjoys traveling, cooking, houseplants, and has a garden, chickens, a dog, two cats, and a goldfish.
